INFERENCE VS ASSUMPTION

Question #1 Inference: is an educated guess based on textual evidence and personal experience can be made logical using text evidence and it is objective. Assumption: is a determination made with no logical (illogical) evidence and it is subjective. Question #2 Inference: is very strong concrete and it is more objective, high-level thinking, still guess. Assumption: is very weak concrete and it is fully subjective, no thinking Question #3 Textual evidence and personal experience (the remembering and understanding aspect of Bloom Taxonomy) if we have prior knowledge (personal experience) of a given topic that we encounter in a new text, we can engage in inferential thinking about that topic. Question #4 inferencing fit in Bloom’s Taxonomy from the bottom, because of you need to remember to recall facts and basic concepts then you need understanding to explain the idea or concepts. Question #1: This speech is very important for teenagers and how a parent teaches their children, Dr. Carson spoke about life and future teenagers. When the entrances to the auditorium, he was receiving great cheers, clapping and some stood because those students know how Dr. Carson is, students know him from his autobiography, it distributed by the local bank to students. In his speech, he used simple words, not a high level of education, because he was addressing teenagers, but the main idea to convince the students and attracts their attention and makes his speech clear to all ages and everyone understands what he is talking about. He was effected on the students, about, he taught them what is the difference between being viewed as cool and being classified as a lowly nerd. He wants to build good teenagers don’t think like cool guys, the cool guys are not thinking about their future and life. When I came to Blinn College, I took the TSI test. I passed math, but I did not pass reading, so I’m taking the Reading 0304 course to develop my reading and writing skills. I don’t know how to use Add and Drop courses system, so when I added Reading 0304, I did not know how do to search about my instructor, therefore I enrolled to Mr. Still class. The first day of class Mr. Still met us, described how he will teach us, and the teaching methods he will use during the spring semester. But, the class changed many things for me. First, managing time was difficult for me, when I had a lot of homework assignments, blogs, essay, and a group project. Second, this course taught me several things, but the important thing was how to find the main ideas and supporting details, to better understand the meaning of a paragraph. Third, this course Mr. Still gave weekly quizzes which required me to keep up with my studies. Some students hate this system, but in fact, the quizzes are useful in learni
