A lot of time ago we did not have something called the internet. Imagine ourselves in ancient times. It is impossible to not imagine having the internet, but it is a fact. With scientists and technology, the internet has become a reality, but the internet was not invented easily. The inventors and scientists are tried and failed, but they did not give up, computer make our lives easier, in the past, the computer was the size of a room and the keyboard was the size of a table, there are many things that have been impossible but because the computer people arrived space, then the inventors invented the satellite. The internet is helping us in our lives, the internet helps communication, education, traveling, security and protection, shopping and helps companies.
The internet helps education, everything is because of everything online. First, you can take your course online on your computer with an internet connection you can take your course when you are not at school, but you need an internet connection. Second, you can open your course schedule with just a few clicks a mouse, you do not need to wait in long lines to see your course schedule. Third, in normal lectures when the instructor needs a homework assignment from you, but you do not know what it is, you open your e-campus and you will see everything that the instructor needs from you. Some instructors are recording all lectures that it is fantastic. Finally, if the instructor needs a document from you and you steal the information from another website, the internet will let the instructor can see that you are stealing this information.
The internet helps communication between people. Before the internet communication was very hard with the internet the communication becomes very easy. First, if you are traveling to study or to work and you leave your family in your country and your country is far from where you live, with the internet you can talk with your family or your friends with your social media or a talk video call to them. Second, you do not need to drive many miles to pay for your ticket or to buy a plane ticket. With the internet, you can do all that online. And if you have a meet with your boss or someone else, you can open Skype with the internet you can meet with him/her face to face online.
The internet helps shopping by making it easier for all. First, when you go shopping you are walking too much to find what you want, with the internet when you are at home or anywhere you can open your computer or your phone and buy what do you want within a few minutes. Second, when you are hungry, and you want to go to a restaurant, the internet, take your order like McDonald’s.

Finally, when the internet came into our lives make our lives easy, but at the same time to open the way to hackers to steal your information the hackers made fake websites for shopping and the hacker can steal your money this way. Many people spend most of their time on the internet and social media.

When I came to Blinn College, I took the TSI test. I passed math, but I did not pass reading, so I’m taking the Reading 0304 course to develop my reading and writing skills. I don’t know how to use Add and Drop courses system, so when I added Reading 0304, I did not know how do to search about my instructor, therefore I enrolled to Mr. Still class. The first day of class Mr. Still met us, described how he will teach us, and the teaching methods he will use during the spring semester. But, the class changed many things for me.
